Dr. Isaac Lausell

We offer concerts, master classes and workshops. Dr. Lausell incorporates the lute along side with the romantic and modern classical guitars in his solo recitals. In the jazz setting his eclectic repertoire covers the standard repertoire, originals and sung renditions of Latin music classics.

We offer master classes in the classical setting with students performing on stage  and receiving live instruction or in the format of workshops and lecture recitals. The later are focused on specific topics such as:

• Jazz performance practice (how to solo, accompany, use of rhythm & phrasing)

• Jazz styles – Straight Ahead, Latin, Fusion (advanced harmonic and rhythmic concepts)

• Ensemble and Chamber music coaching

• Instrumental master classes for classical guitar or electric guitar (technique, interpretation, improvisation, repertoire)
